THE SELLING PROCESS

PROPERTY ASSESSMENT

This is where it begins. Deciding on a sale price can be a tricky thing. I will sit down with you and go over the home and property while noting all its features and selling points. Using this property specific information, along with current local market trends, your desired asking price and other factors, we will determine a price that will bring you the optimal return.

GETTING READY

No matter the property or home, it's appearance can be the make or break in getting your desired price. After assessing the property and determining your asking price, we will review items in and around the home that could be fixed, or updated to further qualify its appearance and condition to prospective buyers. We will also look at the need to possibly have the home, or parts of the homes interior "staged", to increase its livability appeal to buyers.

LISTING AND MARKETING

Listing your property is the general term we use for putting it on the market for potential buyers to start looking at it as a prospect. However listing your property with me is just the start. Professional photographs will be taken of your property to ensure it is showcased in the best light possible. These photos are then used as part of a customized marketing strategy executed over many high visibility channels, including many social media platforms. Through my award winning Royal LePage brokerage and head office, I am also able to leverage additional resources to increase visibility of your property.

OFFER

Once the marketing strategies are set in place, it won't be long before you start getting offers roll in for your property! I will help guide you through all of them and discuss the viability of each, including offer price, condition terms, clauses and closing dates. Getting you the most for your property is my number one goal, but I will also negotiate for conditions terms that you find acceptable.

THE FOLLOWUP

Once you have accepted the offer, that's not the last you'll hear from me. You can count on me to be available to help ensure the closing of the sale runs as smooth as possible. In some cases it's not an easy decision to sell a property, so I also like to follow-up with my clients down the road, to see how they are doing in the next chapter of their life.
